Join GH4GH for four-event filled days of fun, culture, and an experience of a lifetime in celebration of
Ghana’s Independence Day. On Thursday March 3, 2016, join GH4GH at the World Bank in Washington
D.C. for an evening of discussion about the current state of affairs in Ghana. Our panel discussion,
entitled What Will It Take to Move Ghana Forward, will feature speakers from various sectors providing
their expertise on what we can do to develop the state of Ghana. Following our discussion, join GH4GH
at Ozio’s for a young professionals social and networking event.
On Friday, March 4, 2016 relax and socialize with GH4GH and the best of the best in DC as we kick off
the weekend with a social and late night celebration at Park at 14th in Washington D.C. Park at 14th
features four levels of the hottest music with the Patio area offering the best in International, Afrobeats,
Hip-Hop, Top 40 and Dancehall.
The celebration continues on Saturday March 5, 2016 with a concert featuring some of Africa’s top
artists all under one roof. GH4GH, in partnership with Africa1Media, and with the support of our
marketing and media partners: DJ Chick, jQ Promotions GHBOYZZ, Bobby Trump, Elite Events, Exzicroz
Entertainment, Charles AMG Group, 3G Media Inc., Kasa, Raro Lae, and PartyAddicts , presents All
Access Ghana. All Access Ghana is a one of a kind concert and party that will feature a lineup of some of
Africa’s hottest artists including headliners Sarkodie and Fuse ODG, and other artists such as Bisa Kdiei,
E.L, Edem, Wonda, and Efya. The first of its kind, this African packed lineup is sure to have the audience
on their feet all night.
The conclusion of this four day celebration is the Second Annual Golden Gala on March 6, 2016, the
actual date of Ghana’s independence. The Golden Gala, a black tie event, is an evening filled with
entertainment, networking, food, and fun. The Golden Gala will feature live entertainment from Ghana’s
very own award winning musician Kojo Antwi, an award segment that will highlight the
accomplishments of Ghanaians both here and abroad, a silent auction, and a DJ that will make sure to
keep guests dancing all evening. A fraction of this year’s proceeds will also be donated to CEFAC, a nonprofit
organization based here in the Washington Metropolitan area that seeks to develop underprivileged
Ghanaians by providing: a sense of belonging, healthcare, education, and empowerment.
