The Times reports that West African Heads of State ended their 20th Summit in Abuja, Nigeria at the weekend pledging to remove Sierra Leone's military junta and restore civilian rule. This they have decided to do through tougher sanctions, including an embargo on supply of food items, fuel, arms and travels by the leaders of the AFRC junta. GRI
