GNPC secures land to move Head Office to Western Region

Chief Finance Officer for National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Mrs Comfort Aniagyei has disclosed that the company would relocate its Operational Head Office to Takoradi, Western region.

She stated during a Breaking Session of the 5th National Policy Summit, that the company is yet to finalise the necessary documentation with land owners to begin construction on the piece of land they have acquired in the area.

The relocation according to her would allow residents benefit from the commercial exploration of oil and gas in the Region.

"the president promised that the GNPC headquarters would be moved to Takoradi so we have rented an office here for the GNPC foundation till the construction of the main headquarters is completed. I want to assure chiefs and people of the area that by early next year we would commence work on the land". she indicated
