GO Help Africa Foundation supports women in Ayawaso West

Go Help Africa Ghana has supported 10 women in Ayawaso West with GHC 500 each towards the purchase of working materials.

The 10 were amongst 150 women trained by the Ayawaso West Municipal Assembly in bead making to empower them economicaly.

The NGO which is into education, both formal and vocational training is also involved in women empowerment towards poverty alleviation.

Mrs. Sabrina Poole, CEO and founder said beads have become a huge exports products and encouraged the beneficiaries to strive to come up with quality products.

She also disclosed that the donation was a step to more partnerships/collaborationd with the assembly.

Hon. Sandra Owusu-Ahinkorah, MCE for the Ayawaso Municipal Assembly adviced the women to ensure that they use the money received for the intended purpose to empower themselves to improve their families economically whiles thanking the NGO.

Some of the works the women were exhibited at the Assembly.

Present were Evelyn Sabbi Ghana Director for Go Help Africa, Municipal Coordinating Director, Municipal Social Welfare & Community Development officer and Staffs of the Assembly.
