The Ghana Premier League has started to heat up, and while a lot of discussions has been geared towards title contenders, the race for the Golden Boot is beginning to take shape.

Inter Allies skipper and talisman Victorien Adje Adebayor and Aduana Stars hitman Yahaya Mohammed are leading the pack after 10 rounds of matches played.

Adebayor scored a stunning brace against Berekum Chelsea on Saturday to take his tally to 10 goals in 9 appearances so far.

On Sunday, Yahaya Mohammed also responded with a brace in Aduana’s defeat to Liberty to go level on 10 goals.

Behind them are Prince Opoku Agyemang (Medeama) and Prince Kwabena Adu (Bechem United) who are also tied on 7 goals each.

Liberty Professionals striker Elvis Kyei Baffour, Ibrahim Osman (King Faisal) and Bernard Boateng (Elmina Sharks) follow closely behind with 6 goals to their names.
