GRA exceeds revenue target for 2015

The Ghana Revenue Authority says it has exceeded its revenue target for the fourth quarter of this year.

The Authority had lamented its inability to meet the 22 billion Ghana cedis revenue target for 2015 due to the June 3 flood disaster that affected many warehouses.

But speaking with Starr Business in an interview, the Commissioner General of the GRA, George Blankson, said his has outfit chalked significant success in revenue collection over the past months.

“For the first eight months of the year, the GRA is on course with respect to revenue achievements, that is to say we have achieved our revenue target and even exceeded it by a margin which we think is greater,” Mr. Blankson said.
