Tema, Dec. 10, GNA - Motorists plying the Tema Motorway were on Thursday afternoon re-directed to use other alternative routes to their destinations, due to a gas leakage from a tanker. It took personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), about two hours to expel the 10,300 litres of gas from the tanker before traffic was opened to motorists. The gas tanker was travelling from Tema to Accra when the incident happened. Divisional Officer Class Three, Steve Pobee of the Operations Directorate of the GNFS made this known to Ghana News Agency in Tema. Mr Pobee said commended motorists for co-operating with the security officers during the incident.
