Gas tanker overturns at busy intersection at Darkuman, causing traffic congestion

A gas tanker has overturned at Darkuman, near Cable and Wireless in the Greater Accra Region resulting in traffic congestion at a busy intersection.

This incident was shared on the Facebook page of Citi FM, on Friday, September 27, 2024, noting, "A gas tanker has overturned near Cable and Wireless at Darkuman, causing a major disruption. The exact cause of the accident at the busy intersection remains unclear".

The report further indicated that, "Ghana National Fire Service officers are currently on site, cooling the tanker to prevent a potential explosion. Motorists are strongly advised to avoid the area until the tanker is safely removed".
