Gay practitioners are driving our ancestors crazy – King of Atweasin

Atwease Hene, Nana Otutu Obrempong Kumah II have condemned the growing practice of homosexuality in Ghana and called on all and sundry to desist from accepting such practices because it driving our ancestors crazy.

He warned that practicing gay might attract and bring destructions to the nation talk less of Ghana losing its status as a highly respected country around the globe.

“He said the ancestors are mad at some Ghanaians for practicing this abominable act “homosexuality“ because they fought hard and shed their blood to make Ghana a better country on the Africa continent yet such practitioners have soiled their achievements with immoral practices which has driven them mad therefore he fears all the gold in this country may disappear if such practices continue in Ghana”.

He said: “Although the Ghanaian society and culture is very tolerant we command humble, dignified and decent lives and cultures and that is why our constitution talks about the dignity of all persons as “inviolable.

Nana noted that, In as much as we strive for perpetual peace and development, to attain heights in developmental projects we should not allow or tolerate the infiltrations of foreign cultures into our sacred societies.

He appealed to the president of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo to ensure that homosexualism will never be legalized in Ghana.

Meanwhile Nana Obrempong Otutu Kumah II, called on the Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Mr Kofi Dzamesi to help resolve issues surrounding the Akuapim traditional council and also called on the government to come to the aid of his community with regards to development and sanitation.
