In a powerful address at a recent New Patriotic Party (NPP) rally, former Member of Parliament for New Edubiase George Boahen Oduro outlined his vision for the constituency as he campaigns for the party's parliamentary candidacy.

Oduro, who previously represented the area, reflected on the NPP's defeat in the 2020 elections, attributing it to a divine purpose that allowed constituents to recognize the shortcomings of the current MP.

During his speech, He expressed deep concern over the hardships faced by residents, citing instances where constituents received misleading responses to their inquiries. He urged attendees to take action, reminding them that they have the power to change their circumstances by voting for new leadership.

“We were the ones who elected the current MP, and now we have the opportunity to vote him out,” he declared passionately. He emphasized the need for meaningful development in the constituency and pledged to work tirelessly to improve the lives of the constituents.

Among his proposed initiatives, He highlighted plans to facilitate driving licenses for local drivers and to provide financial support for women entrepreneurs in marketing. He believes these measures will empower constituents and stimulate economic growth within the community.

Hon. George Oduro made the pronouncements during a campaign tour of the Edubiase Constituency as part of Dr. Bawumia's tour in the Ashanti region to sell his message to electorates. With the backing of Vice President Dr. Alhaji Bawumia, Oduro aims to unite the constituency and bring about positive change.

As the NPP gears up for the upcoming elections, Oduro's candidacy is garnering attention and support from constituents eager for development and effective representation. The New Edubiase constituency stands at a crossroads, and many are looking to Oduro as a beacon of hope for progress and prosperity.
