In December 2023, renowned Ghanaian investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas, hinted at another explosive exposé which he said would be aired on the BBC.
Speaking in a video clip from an interview that went viral on social media, Anas indicated that the documentary would be aired in January.
“(The documentary) which is likely to be released on the BBC in January, shocked me and I can tell you. Get ready for a shocker on the BBC Africa Eye,” he said in the video clip.
Asked whether the documentary was “something that will be seen globally,” the award-winning journalist retorted, “It will go globally. It will play on the World Service. It will play on BBC Africa Eye.”
He indicated that the documentary portrays the wickedness of people.
He added that he wept bitterly after watching parts of the documentary.
“But even me, when I saw the film and I got to the middle, I got out and I went away because the scenes are gory. People can be evil,” he added.
