Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mrs Hannah Tetteh, was received in Paris on Thursday by her French counterpart, Laurent Fabius, ahead of the Elysée Summit on peace and security in Africa, which will be held in France in December.
During their meeting, the Ministers deliberated on security and regional issues in preparation for the summit.
They also sought to find ways to intensify Ghana-France bilateral cooperation, which was recently strengthened by the signing of a Framework Partnership Document, as well as other economic relations between the two countries.
Mrs Tetteh's visit also follows the official visit of President John Mahama in France in May this year on the invitation of President Francois Hollande.
