Ghana High Commission Honours Staff

Madam Zainab Turay, a Sierra Leonean national who has worked with the Ghana High Commission in Freetown for thirty-three (33) years left Freetown last Monday, November 3, 2003 for a three-wek visit to Accra as a guest of the Ghana government.

Whilst in Ghana she will visit five regional capitals and a number of historic sites and tourist attractions including the Kwae Nkrumah Mausoleum and Park in Accra, Bonwire, the cradle of the famous Kente cloth, Castles and Forts at Cape Coast and Elmina, and the world's largest man-made lake a Akosombo.

Ms. Turay will also pay courtesy calls on Ghana's minister of Foreign Affairs and other senior officials of the Ministry.

Her trip which was arranged by the Ghana High Commission in Freetown is in recognition of her long and dedicated servie to the Mission.

Ghana Airways Corporation and the Ghana Tourist Development Company as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are sponsoring both her trip and stay in Ghana.
