As part of its corporate social responsibilities, the Ghana Jeep Club journeyed Dodowa to visit and treat the children of the Potter’s Orphanage Village to a pre-Easter bash.
Members of the club socialised with the children and encouraged them to take their education seriously for a better future.
The club also donated some items for the children’s upkeep and was hopeful of a repeat as it has the interest of the needy at heart.
Spokesperson Edward Nana Poku Osei (Hammer) intimated that the two-month-old club was more than happy to have put smiles on the faces of the children.
“We did this for the kids, however we didn’t really know how much they needed it until we got there” he said. “Even though we gave them a memorable experience, their situation is quite critical as we came to find out. They need much more support than anticipated and so we’re appealing to the general public and individuals to come to the aid of The Potter’s orphanage village.”
The Ghana Jeep Club is made up of over 40 individuals who own jeep(s) of all types with the off-road slogan “Don’t follow me, You won’t make it”.
