The second round match of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier between Ghana and Kenya scheduled to played in March 22, 2018 has been postponed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The continent football governing body decided to postpone all second round of matches, so that the teams that have qualified for the World Cup would have enough time to prepare for the tournament to be staged in Russia.
This decision was upheld by CAF after the Nigerian federation requested the postponement due to their hectic schedule prior to next year’s world football showpiece.
The Black Stars are placed first in Group F of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers with three points after thumping Ethiopia 5-0 in the first round of match played back in June.
