Hearts midfielder Samudeen Ibrahim was at his best against Tema Youth after warming the bench in their two previous matches while Ofori Antwi's stupendous show plus Kwasi Donsu's magnificent display in midfield for Medeama gave them a point at the dreaded Nana Agyemang Badu I Park with Nicholas Gyan stealing praises from Wa fans following his stylish strike to share the spoils with the defending champions.

Coach Ricardo Da Rocha of Dwarfs is the manager of the mid-week action in a 4:1:4:1 system.

Ofori Antwi (GK) - Medeama SC: For a shot stopper to emerge the best player of a game, you should know he did his job well. Antwi made more than 4 superb saves to stop Aduana Stars from winning the game in Dormaa. He stopped all the dangerous free kicks of Godfred Saka and also managed to halt many dangerous counter attacks by the home side.

Godfred Saka - Aduana Stars: Saka is in the form of his life. He is the most consistent player so far in our team of the week. He was apt in his attacking runs and defended well. He as usual was in charge of all the set pieces of the home side and had to frown at Ofori Antwi for stopping all his dangerous free kicks.

Imoro Ibrahim- Bolga All Stars: Bolga All Stars lost the game to Berekum Chelsea at the Golden City Park but the man who attracted all the shouts and praises was Imoro Ibrahim. The left back was excellent in his display. Gave good and accurate long passes, supported his attack excellently and defended perfectly.

Samed Ibrahim - AshGold: Perhaps the saviour of AshGold this season. Samed was perfect in his defensive duties against Liberty on Wednesday. He picked all the aerial balls and displayed some good slide-tackles to stop Liberty's attackers. His ball distribution was great and he topped it up with winning the player of the match.

Farouk Adams - Elmina Sharks: Farouk also broke into our team following a great show at Bechem. Ahmed Toure was stopped from increasing his goal tally and the man who did that job was Farouk. He shielded his defence well and ensured they ended the game with a draw. He also emerged the man of the match.



Brimah Mohammed -B. Chelsea: Brimah scored the only goal of the game that gave Chelsea all three points. As a holding midfielder, he was a delight to watch as many likened him to the hey days of Michael Essien. He protected his back four perfectly and distributed the ball with a tape measure.

Kwasi Donsu - Medeama SC: Much has not been seen or heard of the wonderful midfielder this season but Wednesday appears the breakthrough. Donsu was his original self; gave good passes, tackled well in the midfield and neutralise the forces of Noah Martey, Elvis Opoku and Zakaria Mumuni. He was simply sumptuous.

Emmanuel Gyamfi - Kotoko: The swift attacking winger was splendid in the Reds' solitary win over WAFA. He emerged the man of the match following his great show.

Samudeen Ibrahim - Hearts: Samudeen after warming the bench in the Phobians' last two games was handed a starting role against Tema Youth and he was just splendid. He was his former self and spiced the Hearts midfield. His passes were on point and the timing of the passes, perfect.

Nicholas Gyan - Dwarfs: Gyan was a delight to watch against Wa All Stars. His equalising goal was simply magnificent and timely. He took his tally to 5 gaols in 7 matches.

Joseph Paintsil - Tema Youth: Another consistent player in our team of the week is Paintsil. His performance against Hearts was excellent on Wednesday. He fetched the opener for the home side and emerged the player of the match.
