Ghana To Serve UNESCO Board

Accra, (Greater Accra) Nov. 7 Ghana has been elected to serve on the Executive Board of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organisation's (UNESCO) General Conference currently taking place in Paris, France. This is the fourth time Ghana has been elected to serve on the board which is the highest body to be appointed by the general conference of UNESCO to see to the implementation of its decision, a stated issued in Accra today said. The statement said Mrs. Estelle Appiah of the Attorney General's Department was elected chairman of the legal committee of the conference. Ghana's delegation is being led by Dr. Christina Amoako-Nuama, Minister of Education.
