Ghana is “figuratively and in reality” dwelling in “darkness”, and so is Africa, Pastor Mensa Otabil has said.
Teaching his congregation on the topic ‘Arise, Shine’ in church on Sunday, 7 August, the founder and General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) said: “Our country Ghana and Africa, both figuratively and in reality, dwell in darkness, but thanks to God that in the midst of the darkness, the light of God has come upon you.”
“It may not change the general condition but upon you, there is light,” the motivational speaker told his congregation.
Pastor Mensa Otabil said: “I believe that we have entered into a situation that although there may be darkness all around us, our light has come. God is isolating his people …”
He said in the season of light, Christians experience God’s favour and secondly, “the season of light is a time for God’s focus”.
