The Head Pastor for the Alabaster International Ministries, Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, has said Ghanaians have moved away from the core principles which the forebears of the nation bequeathed; as such, is not a serious country.

In a one-on-one interview with Johnnie Hughes on TV3’s New Day, the outspoken man of God observed Ghanaians have drifted away from certain principles.

“Ghana is not a serious country”, he said, adding “we have stayed away from principles like astuteness, all the things our founding fathers stood for we have drifted away it”.

“We [Ghanaians] have become so selfish and self-centered,” he reiterated.

He further expressed his displeasure towards gospel musicians in the country, noting their lyrics are mostly not text from the Bible but worldly things.

Prophet Oduro also observed the church today has lost its direction because the truth, according to him, has been concealed, pointing out that the truth is an important factor for nation-building.

“I don’t think [the church] is focused, possibly we have lost our voice because the truth should be the spearhead of nation building,” he noted.

He urged prophets to assist politicians to move in the right direction concerning nation development.
