Ghana police launches Police Diary magazine

The Ghana police service has launched a Police Diary that seeks to educate the general public on crime prevention, policing and law enforcement.

The regional Police Diary also aims at providing a more direct and effective system of communication between the police and the general public.

Speaking at the launch of the event the Accra Regional Commander DCOP Fredrick Adu Anim indicated that the magazine will improve understanding of policing and their activities that will yield public support for the full realization of the command’s achievement.

He urged the police officer to contribute in the publication of the magazine

“The police diary is for everybody; the police and the general public. It is informative, educative, and pictorial and safety oriented. I appeal to officemen of the service to contribute positively to the magazine with articles, initiatives, crime dynamics, activities, activities/programmes and events to enrich its content and quality” he said

The Police Diary will build and strengthen the symbiotic relationship between police and the police and the public and positively shape public attitudes towards crime reporting.

The police diary will give information on law enforcement, safety advice based on crime trends, the police service, events and activities by the regional command.
