Ghana´s 59th Independence celebration in pictures

The 59th Independence day march past is underway with students of various Senior High schools marching and saluting President John Dramani Mahama.

The 59th Independence Day celebration is on the theme “Investing in the Youth for Ghana’s Transformation.”

There were reports of a thunderstorm coming in from Nigeria that could have potentially marred today’s parade but the Ghana Meteorological service rubbished such reports.

It has been sunny thus far as the participants march in commemoration of Ghana’s Independence.
