Ghanaian striker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt netted his fourteenth goal of the season in the German Regionaliga on Wednesday as Bayer Munich II went away to demolish Augsburg II by three goals to nothing.
Wriedt scored Bayer’s second goal in the 25th minute with a fantastic effort after Maxime Awoudja had given them the lead in the 19th minute.
The Ghanaian forward was lively as he continued to cause problems for the Augsburg back four with his pace and power.
Wriedt was unlucky not to have netted a brace as the home keeper pulled some wonderful saves at the Rosenaustadion.
Joshua Zirkzee scored Bayer’s third goal in the 77th minute to put the game beyond Augsburg’s reach.
