Ghana's Tourism sector to include diving

Accra (Greater Accra), 28 April, A Washington-based Divers Association said today that it has discovered two ship wrecks and ideal water depths in the sea along the Accra and Tema coast that are ideal for scuba diving. Dr. Albert Jose Jones, President of the National Association of Black, Scuba Divers (NABSD) told newsmen that he and his five-member team were surprised to find dolphins and other big fishes in Gulf of Guinen. "These are enough to begin a multi-billion dollar diving sport in Ghana. "he said. Dr. Jones was speaking when he and his team called on Owuraku Amofa, Deputy Minister of Tourism: in Accra. He said divers all over the world belong to the affluent class and their presence in Ghana would boast foreign exchange earnings from the tourism sector.
