Ghana wasting money on Kusi Boafo as CEO of Public Sector Reforms – Brogya Genfi

The Ashanti Regional Youth Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Yaw Brogya Genfi has reprimanded the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Public Sector Reforms, Mr Kusi Boafo saying he wastes the country’s money by receiving salary every month.

He believes the CEO is not giving any value after his appointment and is rather advocating he must be dismissed from the position in order to become a government propagandist since he takes delight in doing that by sitting on the radio on daily basis.

“There is nothing that man (Kusi Boafo) is doing to help Ghana and one of the 998 people is Mr. Kusi Boafo. He is a total waste”. He claimed.

Brogya Genfi took on the appointee after the government released 998 names of Presidential staffers at the Jubilee House late last month indicating that the number has ballooned to over thousand contrary to what is making the rounds.

On whether the said number is helping the government deliver on its promises, the Organizer stated clearly that government does not need such huge numbers of people at the presidency because it constitutes a waste of state resources.

According to Mr. Genfi who is one of the 998 staffers who has contributed nothing to the nation-building is Mr. Kusi Boafo the CEO of Public Sector Reforms.

“Do you know he is one of the 998 presidential staffers, but as I speak to you now, he is in Kumasi on a radio program yet they claim he is the CEO of Public Sector Reform. That man called Kusi Boafo, what Ghanaians have gotten from his service as someone who receives salary every month”, he quizzed.

Asked what he wanted from the appointee in his official capacity and has not received he responded:“I am telling you that those 998 staffers is a total waste and one of them is what I’m showing to you”.
