Pregnant Woman, Boyfriend Murdered Inside Home in Maryland

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Police are continuing to investigate the double homicide of a Prince George's County couple found dead at their home in a gated community in Upper Marlboro.

Authorities report at some point this week, someone broke into the home on the 14500 block of Turner Wotten Parkway in Upper Marlboro and fatally shot 36-year-old Unis Baah and her 40-year-old boyfriend Seth Aidoo.

Just Saturday night, Baah's cousins, Susan Dixon and Abigail Ellis, attended Aidoo's 40th birthday party in the home.

"The last time I spoke to my cousin was Monday... she calls you right back," Dixon said. "I'm still stunned. Like I'm dreaming, I don't think it's real."

A bullet pierced one of the walls in the couple's home and broke through a neighbor's window. The damage in the neighbor's home wasn't noticed until this morning, but now it is considered a part of the crime scene.

One neighbor who declined to be on camera told ABC 7/NewsChannel 8 reporter John Gonzalez she heard what sounded like a gunshot Monday night. At the time, she said she thought it was just a car backfiring.

Police report there is evidence of forced entry in the rear of the house. That has some neighbors especially on edge at the idea that the crime could have been random.

Concerned neighbors said if this was a random crime, they are appalled the suspect gained access to the gated community so easily. "I've noticed people come in behind other people after the gate has been opened," said T. McDonald, a neighbor. "There is a way to get in."
