If Nana should win he becomes the first Native Ghanaian to become the Head of a State in the United States of America.
Nana was born and raised in Kumasi, Ghana. He received a BS (cum laude) degree in Business Administration in 1977 from the College of Charleston, South Carolina, and obtained an MBA (Finance) Degree from the University of Akron, Ohio, in 1980. He received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C. in 1986.
Nana worked as a corporate attorney with Northwestern National Life Insurance Company (NWNL) in Minneapolis from 1986 to 1988 and has been a private attorney since leaving NWNL. Nana's daughter, Bridget, attends Pillsbury MST in Minneapolis.
