Ghanaian Pilgrims Safe From Mina Fire

Accra The Ghana Consulate in Jeddah today said there was no Ghanaian casualty in last week's fire outbreak in Mina, Saudi Arabia, during the Hajj. A statement released in Accra said Ghanaian pilgrims were evacuated before the tents were destroyed by the fire. The statement released by the National Commission on Culture said the pilgrims would be moving from Mina to Makkah in preparation for their travel back home. The first flight is on 27th April, the statement said.
