Ghanaian, Adam Amadu, 29 and four other foreigners and two Thais have been charged with selling cocaine, ecstasy and ketamine drugs in Bangkok.
City police arrested the suspects in three separate raids Friday, Bangkok Times reports.
They were Kanadi Santozo, 56, and Eng Ravi, 40, from Singapore, Prince Arcer 27, from Gambia, William Abrahim, 25, from Sudan, Kriengkrai Korakotkhunakorn, 54, and Daranee Jinavorn, 21.
A total of 1,320 ecstasy and ketamine pills and cocaine were seized from the suspects.
City police chief Anan Piromkaew said the two Singaporeans were arrested with ecstasy drugs and cash in a room on the eighth floor of Grand Diamond building in Ratchathewi district.
?Mr. Santozo and Mr. Eng Ravi are among ecstasy dealers on Ratchadapisek road. They might be involved in the killing of Wang Yong-ta, a Singaporean businessman with a fake Indonesian passport, in April. Police will investigate further,'' said Pol Lt-Gen Anan.
The three African men were nabbed with four bars of cocaine and many packets of cocaine powder in a raid on Sapkaew apartment in Huai Khwang district, while Mr. Krieng and Ms Daranee were arrested with 19 ketamine pills at Panjasap housing estate in Soi Lat Phrao 80, he said.
Police said Mr. Kriengkrai had been jailed in France on passport forgery charges. He was also facing trial on charges of selling methamphetamines following his arrest in 2000.
