A Ghanaian church based in the United Kingdom is said to have been charging congregation members and visitors exorbitant prices for its services, even though it is exempt from taxes as a church.

Torchbearers Worldwide Ministries, a charismatic church based in the North London area in the United Kingdom, has put hefty price tags on what under normal circumstances would service a church provides at no cost.

According to a report by Ghanacelebrities.com, last Sunday, Torchbearers Worldwide Ministries handed out a leaflet detailing a host of services the church provides to visitors and congregation members alike... along with their new prices.

A picture of the leaflet provided by an unknown source who attended last Sunday's service shows the church charging the general public up to 70 Pounds Sterling for a one hour, Friday prayer appointment, and up to 300 Pounds for a "prayer of deliverance and exorcism" session, while regular tithe paying members get the Friday appointment for free, and a slight reduction by paying 150 Pounds for the prayer and exorcism.

In the wake of ICGC's notorious prayers request saga where, during an event, the church charged thousands of Ghana Cedis for "special" prayer requests, Ghanaians seem to have become more conscious to churches using religion to make a profit.
