Nana Osei Tutu Fordjour, the President of the Men’s Ministry of the Assemblies of God, Gospel Light Congregation at Dichemso, a suburb of Kumasi, has urged Ghanaian men, especially Christians, to use their God-given gifts to serve society.
He said it was time men rose to their calling as leaders, to render selfless services at home, school, church, work place and the larger society to impact societal growth, development and transformation.
Nana Osei Tutu was speaking to the Ghana News Agency at the climax of this year’s Men’s Day celebration, on the theme:“Manifesting the Gifts of the Spirit, for Service.”
He explained that God, the Creator, gives gifts to mankind to serve Him and society.
“Let’s rise up to use our God-given gifts to transform the world by setting good examples as leaders of society and servants of God,”he said.
The Ministry’s President urged men to serve God, the nation and the people with dynamism.
“Dynamic men must know God and be prayerful. They must be students of the word of God and filled with the Holy Spirit.
“They must have good reputation in order to win the respect and support of those they lead and serve. These will make us shine wherever we find ourselves and impact positively on our generations,” he said
