Ghanaian youngster Edward Sarpong has been included in the Portuguese Campeonato team of the week after a mother-watering performance for Esperança de Lagos against GD Fabril.
The 22-year-old played full throttle in Esperanca's 1-0 win over GD Fabril at the Estadio Municipal Fernando Cabrita.
Sarpong was a delight to watch at left back throughout the whole game as he came to the rescue of his side on many occasions.
The Ghanaian, who is on loan from Portimonense has been one of the consistent players for the side, making seven appearances in the Compeonato.
He had a decent Africa U-23 Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt, however, his penalty miss which cost Ghana a place in the Olympics games in Tokyo is what he will be remembered for.
