Given the hardships that have been visited on Ghanaians, the electorate are yearning to see the exit of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) from office in the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections, Alexander Kojo Abban, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for Gomoa West has said.

According to him, the NDC government has failed to solve the critical issues affecting the lives of Ghanaians especially those in his constituency, therefore, the need to vote them out of power.

Speaking in an interview with Emefa Apawu on Class 91.3FM’s 505 Extra on Wednesday November 2, he said: “The people of Gomoa West are doing well but the only thing is that they cannot wait for the exit of this government on the 7th of December.

“This is because they can feel the hardship all over the country and they can also feel the wind of change. Nana Akufo-Addo just walked through the constituency, you could see palpably that everybody is yearning for that change and I believe that it is not only Nana Akufo-Addo who is going to win to bring that change, I'm also going to win to bring about that change.”

Mr Abban further stated that the Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sam Fletcher will be no match for him in the parliamentary elections.

“They don’t know him, the NDC supporters don’t even know him in the constituency” he said.

Meanwhile Mr Fletcher who spoke in a telephone interview with Emefa Apawu was optimistic of a victory. He assured his contender that the NDC will win the elections at both the presidential and parliamentary levels.
