Alhaji Said Sinare is Ghana's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Ghanaian nationals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, have lauded Ghana’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, Alhaji Said Sinare, for introducing an unprecedented 24-hour access initiative aimed at strengthening engagement with the Ghanaian community.
The initiative, which allows Ghanaians to reach the ambassador at any time without prior appointments, has been widely described as a historic and people-centered approach to diplomacy.
Many members of the community say this marks the first time they have enjoyed such open and unrestricted access to their ambassador.
At a recent meeting with Ghanaian nationals, Ambassador Sinare reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising the welfare of citizens abroad.
He listened to concerns, addressed urgent issues, and assured the community of continuous support from the mission.
Participants particularly praised his declaration that no Ghanaian requires an appointment to see him—an approach he described as offering a “free visa” to access his office.
According to them, this bold policy has broken long-standing bureaucratic barriers and brought leadership closer to the people.
The Ghanaian community noted that the initiative has restored confidence, improved communication, and reinforced their sense of belonging, calling on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to replicate such a model across other diplomatic missions.
They expressed appreciation to Ambassador Sinare for his humility, accessibility, and dedication to the welfare of Ghanaians in Saudi Arabia.
