The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Subin, Isaac Osei has called for peace in the party.
According to him, the NPP members should consider the upcoming polling station elections as an internal affair.
The Subin legislator disclosed this while addressing members of ‘No Shaking,’ a grouping in the NPP at Adum Nsuoase.
He said the polling station elections were very important for the party, saying the polling station is the base of the party.”
Hon. Osei admonished the NPP faithful, notably the delegates, to vote for competent people that can work for the party.
He sternly cautioned them against tribal considerations in the election of polling station executives.
The NPP, he said, cannot afford to lose the 2016 polls and tasked the party members to work hard to ensure victory in 2016.
Hon. Osei lambasted the Mahama-led NDC administration for collapsing the country’s economy and worsening the plight of the poor in the country.
He noted that corruption was rife in the current Mahama-led NDC administration.
Hon. Osei said the NPP ought to recapture power in 2016 to alleviate the suffering of Ghanaians.
