Ghanaians unite on the Park

The long awaited annual Family Fun Day, Ghana Party in the Park, popularly known as ‘meet me there’ will take off on 7 August 2010 at it usual venue, Copthall Park, Champions Way- Mill Hill London. NW4 1RL, from 10am to 6pm. The event is organised by Akwaaba UK, the most successful Ghanaian Promotion Management in UK so far.

The organisers of the event have expressed that this year’s event will be an improvement of the previous year which counted about nine thousand participants. So far the main aims of the event which are to bring together Ghanaians in the UK under one hut and also to promote quality family time has been praised by communities and families in UK as highly achieved.

Participants will be treated to heart warming music and comedy by artists from Ghana such as swagger boys; Rough and Smooth, R2bees, Nana Boroo, with his ever popular latest single “Ahayede”, and Ghana's most funniest comedian Agya Koo, supported by UK based artists such as Vibe Squad, Sonni Balli, Kay Dizzle, Marvel, coupled with UK finest DJs and mcs such as Radical D, French kiss crew, Specialist crew, Osofo Mafia, Kwaku Owusu Frimpong, Lyrical and many more.

Apart from side attractions such as Cultural dancing, Fashion shows, children face painting, food, Durbar of Chiefs and a special appearance by His Excellently, the Ghana High Commissioner, Akwaaba UK will launched its first lifestyle magazine along side Ghana’s Got Talent Show organised by Jamaican National Money Transfer. Captivatingly, this new show will give away £1000 to the winner as well as other mouth watering promising opportunities.
