Kuntunse (G/A), June 8, GNA - Ghanaians have been urged to seek the face of God in all their undertakings to speed up the socio-economic development of the country.

Reverend Francis Tsagli of the Global Evangelical Church, who made the call, said the country's efforts at rapid development would come to nought if God did not provide the direction.

Preaching the sermon on the theme: "The Road to Success," at a thanksgiving service to round off activities marking the tenth anniversary celebration of the Kuntunse Branch of the Global Evangelical Church on Sunday, Rev Tsagli appealed to Government officials to place the country's development plans before God for guidance in executing them.

The church, which started in 1994 with a membership of eleven, now has a congregation of 111 people.

Rev Tsagli said besides asking God for direction, it was equally important Ghanaians obeyed the laws of God, saying obedience was necessary for receiving favours from God. Reverend Wilberforce Doe, District Pastor, said to consolidate God's work in the community, the congregation had laid the foundation for a mission house.

He asked all to donate cheerfully towards the project. An appeal for fund in aid of the building yielded 2.5 million cedis.
