Ghanaweb's Personality of the Year is that person who, for better or worse, was the most "talked about" over the past year.
We want you to send us your nominations for the 2002 Ghanaweb Personality of the year.
Selection criteria: The person should be a citizen of Ghana.
Last year the award (went to the UN secretary general Kofi Annan. He is ineligible this year.
With 2002 being such an eventful year, there are certainly plenty of candidates for this year's award. But which Ghanaian has shone brightest or was most controversial? Perhaps a member of the current govenment, or maybe one from the previous one. And how about a sportsman, an internet guru, a priest, a taxi driver or even a member of ghanaweb's discussion forum (Say It Loud).
The voting for the Personality of the Year 2002 will begin on 2 January 2003, when 6 nominees will be announced. The winner will be announced at the end of January.
