Give Me Hope Foundation holds mega ‘Needy Child Outreach’ programme for Royal Seed Orphanage

Non-profit organization, Give Me Hope Foundation has held its much-talked about December charity programme for some underprivileged children at the Royal seed Orphanage in the Central Region.

The program, the ‘Needy Child Outreach’ programme was fun-packed with so many free activities including; eye screening, medication, barbering, makeup, face painting, food, drink bazar as well as entertainment. The foundation also donated clothes, food items, educational materials and other assorted items worth over GH¢50,000.

There was also educational talks on Child abuse prevention awareness and Career empowerment to motivate the underprivileged children to inspire them to greatness.

A medical professional, Dr. Jake Acheampong who was on the team urged the leadership of the Royal Seed Orphanage to take very good care of the eating habits of in-mate and cultivate the habit of visiting the hospital regularly for a frequent comprehensive eye screening.

Doctor Acheampong in his submission also revealed that there are thousands of Ghanaians who suffer from various eye conditions, but could not afford the cost of medical care to correct the defects, and therefore saw it necessary to meet them at their needs.

He further asked for support from both government and private sector players to provide support of the activities of Give Me Hope Foundation in order to touch more vulnerable lives.

Mrs. Naomi Esi Amoah, Founder of Royal Seed orphanage thanked the NGO and the medical team for helping her orphanage and also appealed for more of such support to help cater for the home.

On his part, the founder of Give Me Hope Foundation, Wisdom Dordoe, said the NGO in its daily quest seeks to restore hopes and inspire lives for the less privileged into greatness in communities.

Mr Dordoe further expressed a profound gratitude to members of the NGO for sacrificing everything possible to make its maiden outreach programme a reality and thanked all donors whose supports have gone a long way to impact lives.

“We have big goals for 2019 and looking forward to your support to help make them possible by impacting more lives,” he said.

He also called on various institutions, foreign donors, and individuals to support Give Me Hope Foundation in impacting more lives with its great projects.
