Global Media Alliance (GMA), the market leader in Integrated Marketing Communications, has out-doored a webinar series to host experts in the marketing communications industry to discuss effective marketing communications amid COVID-19.
The Maiden Edition, according to a statement from GMA to the Ghana News Agency, is slated for Friday, May 8, 2020, at the 1000 hours via Zoom video conferencing platform.
A webinar is an online meeting or presentation held via the Internet.
Mr Martin Ankrah, the Project Director speaking on the relevance of the webinar series, said: “COVID-19 has disrupted the business environment. To win, businesses must evolve to the changing times. One of the key success factors is how to communicate effectively with our clients and stakeholders.
“As an industry leader, we therefore feel the need to give our colleagues and the general public the opportunity to build capacity in the marketing communications. We believe the Webinar will equip us to better navigate the Covid-19 waters. This series is one of the many interventions we have introduced to keep our audience engaged and prepared for the new normal.”
The statement said the key resource persons for the maiden webinar series are Mr Gayheart Mensah, a connoisseur of a strategic and concerted approach to Public Relations and Marketing with a career that spans over 20 years across four different industries.
Another resource person is Mr Ahuma Cabutey Adodoadji, a Senior Marketing Executive with over 10 years’ experience across industries in Ghana and the West Africa region, whose passion is to improve the marketing communications approach of businesses and ensure all activities are results-oriented.
The series would be hosted by Fati Ali-Shaibu, a Broadcast Journalist at Global Media Alliance Broadcasting Company, the statement said.
The supporting resource persons for the webinar are Roger Adekpui, Head of BTL and Consumer Marketing, Perception Management International and Eli Daniel-Wilson, Head of Digital Innovation, Global Media Alliance.
