“God Is Wicked” - NPP Founding Member

The behaviour of the NPP, its leadership and some of its members sometimes makes one believe that it is some kind of secret cult and not a true political party.

From littering the streets of Accra with female corpses to plotting to ferry corpses to the Volta Region so as to turn round to claim that it is their members who have been killed by their political opponents, the ma te me hu party continues to show its weird side that makes one want to conclude that it is a secret cult after all.

The latest indication that the NPP may after all be a secret cult is the claim by one of its Founding Fathers in the Ashanti Region that “God is wicked”.

Mr. George Ayisi Boateng, who is said to be a Christian, last Saturday, shocked residents of Kumasi during a political talk-show dubbed ‘Democracy’ on Kessben FM when he said that “God is wicked” that is why he gave Ghana Prof. Atta Mills as President.

The host of the programme, Ohene Djan was so shocked by the utterance of the NPP man that he immediately called on him to withdraw his statement. However, Mr. Ayisi would not budge. Not even when Ohene Djan reminded him that he was a Presbyterian, and that the Presbyterian faith does not hold that “ God is wicked.” Mr. Ayisi Boateng, instead of retracting the statement, rather justified it saying that there are two Gods, one who is kind and a second who is wicked. He said it is the second God who has made Prof. Mills President of Ghana.

Brogya Genfi, a.k.a. Amani, who was representing the NDC on the programme protested against the pronouncement of Mr. Ayisi and also called on him to withdraw the statement. However, the NPP man said he stood by his statement. Amani then told the host he would petition the Presbyterian Church to call the NPP man to order. The blasphemous statement is the talk of the Garden city with many residents wondering if Mr. Ayisi Boateng, who fellowships with the Adum Branch of the Presbyterian Church, and is indeed an elder of the church, is a true Christian.

This latest blasphemy is coming on the heels of the claim by another NPP MP on Asempa FM recently that Kennedy Agyepong is his Jesus.
