Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Lomotey believes 'god of football' Lionel Messi is better than his eternal rival, Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Extremadura player was asked to weigh in on the heated debate between Ronaldo and Messi, saying that they are are two extraordinary players.
However, Lomotey picked the Barcelona superstar, who has won the Ballon D'or six times compared to Ronaldo's five.
"Ronaldo and Messi are two great and extraordinary players, they are the best players in the world at the moment. I will go for Messi, he is a god. He’s the best player in the world now," Lomotey told Kumasi FM.
In the same interview, the 22-year-old said it his dream to one day play alongside Messi at Barcelona.
