God's Church gives to KATH

Kumasi, Dec.13, GNA - The God's Church of Peace in Kumasi, on Monday donated surgical and medical equipment worth 10 million cedis to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

The items included assorted surgical gloves, laboratory and theatre needles, injection syringes, plastic aprons, sterile dressing pack, urine bags, Naso Gastric tubes, Catheters and plastic specimen bags.

Pastor D.S. Boakye, who presented the items on behalf of the church, said the donation formed part of the church's social responsibilities.

He said the church would continue to assist the hospital to enable it to deliver quality health care services to the people.

Mrs. Margaret Atiemo, Director of Nursing Services at KATH, who received the items thanked the church for the gesture. She said the hospital would use the items for the benefit of needy patients who attended the hospital
