Is it true that God will choose a new Electoral Commission (EC) Chairman for Ghana? And If indeed God is to cherry-pick the Former United Nations (UN) Secretary General, Mr. Kofi Annan as Ghana’s new EC boss, what will be the reaction of the political parties in the country?
Well, folks, the latest prophecy regarding Ghana is not who will win the 2012 Election Petition or whether there will be turmoil after the final verdict or not. Weird as it may sound, it is about who would become the next chairman of the EC.
Prophet Samuel Amoakohene, Founder and Leader of Redemption Praise Ministry, in Accra, has openly declared that God has revealed to him that the former UN Secretary-General will soon be picked as the next person to chair the EC.
But if many doubt the prophecy of Prophet Samuel Amoakohene, the man of God says “God will soon reveal the prophecy to Mr. Annan personally to confirm his divination.”
“As long as God has spoken through me, He (God) will reveal to Mr. Annan and it will be a confirmation because if He speaks, its final. God speaks in so many ways and I am sure He will speak to Mr. Annan….He will reveal to him (Mr. Annan) in his dreams,” he said.
According to him, Mr. Annan good works at the UN was a preparation towards the EC position.
“God has revealed to me that Mr. Kofi Annan went to the UN to learn something and bring it back and this is the time he has to work for Ghana,” he said.
Speaking to Adom FM in an interview, Prophet Amoakohehe however called on government to sit Mr. Kofi Annan down for discussion to fulfill the prophecy.
He insisted that “Even if Mr. Annan refuses the position as the EC boss, he should be forced to occupy the position to bring peace to the country. Mr. Annan is well educated and this is the time he must serve his nation.”
