The National Communications Team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Jennifer Oforiwaa Queen has stated that the Almighty God will strike down the Former Deputy Coordinator of National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Joseph Yamin if he doesn’t desist from speaking ill against men of God in the country.

She said God will judge Mr Yamin accordingly for spewing venom about renowned men of God.

Mr Yamin speaking on Abusua FM’s Abusua Nkommo with Kwame Adinkra indicated that he does not listen to preaching of some pastors including the head pastor of International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Pastor Mensah Otabil, the former Presbyterian Moderator Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey due to their biases against the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) party.

But commenting on the issue in an interview with Abusua Dawuro’s Nana Ama Annor, Madam Queen cautioned Yamin to desist from dragging these pastors’ names into the mud when discussing political issues if he doesn’t want God to strike him.

An incensed NPP Communications team member said there was nothing wrong on the part of the pastors to have prayed for the then presidential candidate of NPP Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to win power.

She questioned if none of these pastors Mr Yamin is insulting never prayed for former President John Dramani Mahama’s government.

“Bible says touch not my anointed, so if Yamin wants God’s wrath upon him, he should continue to insult men of God. God will surely punish him for speaking ill against Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Martey, Pastor Mensah Otabil, Rev.Kusi Boafo and Rev. Ernest Owusu Bempah. He said the pastors should be blamed for recent happenings in the country and that the happenings are as a result of Nana Addo’s victory. Let me remind him, Ghanaians were able to live in the country under the NDC government, so what is Yamin talking about. Instead of joining forces together to counsel our children not to think of suicide, you are here insulting people, if you don’t have anything to say on an issue, you shut up than to bring curses upon yourself, God will punish him for insulting Nana Addo and the pastors,” she pointed out.
