President Nana Akufo-Addo praised Attorney General Godfred Dame as an outstanding legal professional who was shaped by his law firm, Akufo-Addo, Prempeh & Co.
During the commissioning of 'The Law House' project in Accra, Akufo-Addo highlighted Dame’s exceptional legal skills and dedication.
He commended Dame for his crucial role in completing 'The Law House' project, which had been stalled for over two decades.
“He [Attorney General] has done a yeoman’s job, and I say a hearty ayekoo [Congratulations] to him; after all, not to be overlooked, he is one of the many worthy products of Messrs. Akufo-Addo, Prempeh, and Co."
Akufo-Addo pointed out that when Godfred Dame took office in 2021, the project was only 36% complete.
He emphasized that Dame's unwavering commitment and support were crucial in reviving and completing the project.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this building's significance goes beyond its physical structure. It represents our strong commitment to upholding the principles of the rule of law," he said.
Highlighting the vital role of the rule of law in a flourishing democracy, Akufo-Addo stated, "The rule of law is the cornerstone of any successful democracy, ensuring that everyone is equal under the law."
