ACCRA, Nov 7 (Reuters) - Ghana has turned back its musical clock for Sunday's state visit by Britain's Queen Elizabeth, reviving the ``golden oldies'' that topped the local charts when she last visited the West African nation in 1961.
Prominent among those taken up and broadcast by the country's radio stations has been ``Queen Elizabeth we love'' by composer King Kwamla Bruce.
The Queen and her husband Prince Philip were due to arrive in Ghana at 1745 GMT on the first leg of a three-nation African tour.
They leave on Tuesday for South Africa and the Commonwealth annual heads of government meeting. The Queen will also visit Mozambique.
Ghana won independence from Britain in 1957, starting a trend that ended British rule in colonies across the continent. It became a republic in 1960, under the terms of a 1958 referendum.
The Queen will hold talks with President Jerry Rawlings, address Ghana's parliament and attend a colourful Durbar meeting of traditional tribal chiefs.
