President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has said his government is committed to the rule of law.
In his Easter message to Ghanaians, he said: “we're committed to rule of respect for human rights.”
He noted that Easter “is the basis of the Christian faith, it reminds us of our responsibilities to God.
"Let us use the Easter celebration to renew and strengthen our faith in God” adding that “with God’s guidance we can strengthen our nation.”
Easter is the time of the Christian year when Christians remember the Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
They believe that Jesus, who they believe was the son of God, died for everyone's wrong-doings and then came back to life three days later to defeat death and evil.
