Accra, June 28, GNA - The Ministry of the Interior on Monday declared Thursday, July 1, a statutory public holiday.

Accra, June 28, GNA - The Ministry of the Interior on Monday declared Thursday, July 1, a statutory public holiday. A statement issued in Accra and signed by Mr Martin A.B.K. Amidu, Minister of the Interior, said "the public is reminded that Thursday, Jul y 1, which marks Republic Day is a statutory public holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country".
