Governmentt to introduce cattle ranching policy to curb Fulani feud

The President of the Republic Of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has assured Ghanaians that measures are being put in place to introduce a cattle ranching policy to curb the issue between citizens and Fulani herds men.

Speaking at the coronation service of the Obomeng Chief Nana Opinamang III at Kwahu Obomeng in the Eastern region, The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo mentioned that the issue of Fulani herds men hurting farmers has been persistent and it is time a policy is introduced to curb the issue.

He added that there have been several cases of Fulani herd’s men allegedly killing farmers who out of hunger prevented their cattle from destroying their crops. He noted that such cases are disturbing and the cattle ranching policy will help solve the issue.

Nana Addo congratulated the chief Nana Opinamang III on his coronation and thanked the people of Kwahu for instilling confidence in him and voting massively massive in the December 2016 polls.
