Eugene Boakye Antwi is the Aspirant for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party
Aspirant for the General Secretary position of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Eugene Boakye Antwi, has called on members and sympathisers of the party to actively participate in the ongoing nationwide membership registration exercise.
According to him, the strength and success of the party have always been rooted in its grassroots structures, particularly at the polling station level, which he described as the foundation of the party’s organisation, mobilisation, and electoral victories.
In a statement issued on March 7, 2026, Boakye Antwi encouraged party members and supporters to demonstrate renewed commitment to the NPP by ensuring that their names are duly captured in the party’s register at their respective polling stations.
“The strength of the NPP has always been built from the grassroots. Our polling stations remain the bedrock of the party’s organisation, mobilisation, and electoral success. It is therefore important that every well-meaning member and supporter who believes in the ideals, unity, and future of our party makes themselves available to support the work of the party at the polling station level,” he stated.
He noted that the ongoing nationwide membership registration exercise, which began on March 1 and will end on March 31, 2026, offers an important opportunity for members and sympathisers to renew their commitment to the party.
Boakye Antwi further explained that after the registration exercise, the party will conduct a verification process from April 1 to April 14, 2026, after which the Polling Station Executive Elections will take place from May 10 to May 16, 2026.
He also outlined the subsequent stages of the party’s reorganisation, which will include several key internal elections.

The Constituency Executive Elections will follow from July 11 to July 12, 2026, with the Regional Executive Elections expected to take place from August 8 to August 9, 2026.
The entire reorganisation process will culminate in the party’s National Delegates Conference, scheduled to take place from September 18 to September 20, 2026.
Boakye Antwi also used the opportunity to commend polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, constituency officers, and other grassroots organisers across the country for their dedication to the party.
He urged them to continue mobilising members and guiding them through the reorganisation process to ensure a smooth, credible, and successful exercise.
“This reorganisation exercise presents an important opportunity for the NPP to renew its grassroots strength, deepen participation, and further strengthen the structures of the party across the country,” he noted.
Boakye Antwi therefore called on all members and supporters who believe in the party’s progress and unity to take part in the exercise and contribute to building a stronger, better-organised NPP.
“Together, let us strengthen the foundations of our party and position it for the future,” he added.
